When I heard of the illness of Eugene I was humbled by his love and care for his family. I visited Eugene in Pittsburgh and he reminded me so much of the Lord who new he had to face this suffering and kept asking me to make sure Deebie and Justin would be Ok. I am proud to say that their faith has pulled them through and this tribute is a great memory for all who like Eugene, had so much love. I was so proud to watch them at church just a few days after the funeral, witnessing to our parish that Eugene was with the Lord and they were living it. I carry you in my heart each day Deebie and Justin and ask Jesus to fill this void with mcuh love from those you love. Your brother and priest, Fr. Gary
